I always look forward to opening a brand new book.
The fresh pages! The smell! Yes, I’m one of those. There have been countless defining reads throughout the years, and incredible stories that have inspired my own personhood. I read every single day, and admittedly quickly, so having a list lets me know what is next. This year, I want to add more variety to my reading genres, and be better about buying used books, to save money. Believe me, I love a good, fresh purchase from Barnes and Noble, just like the next bibliophile, but books can be expensive! Amazon and Thriftbooks have not disappointed with their “used but like new” sections, and have definitely saved me some cash.
I am really looking forward to learning, growing, and getting inspired by this year’s reads. Books are among my favorite things in the world, and I’m especially excited to tackle these ones!
Here is my Reading List for 2017. It will evolve and probably grow, and I will be adding "DONE" next to the ones I finish, as I go. Happy reading!
