Blogmas Day 21: Keeping Christmas Personal

While reading, listen to Christmas Must Be Tonight by Bahamas.

These days, we have to work extra hard to keep things personal.

In a world where you can give a gift card for just about anything, one has to be extra intentional about making gifts special and personal for those who receive them. I always find the personal touches to be the best part of gifts, anyway! Whether it's remembering what someone's favorite candy is and tying it to the top of a gift, or writing a heartfelt note - those are the little touches people will remember long after Christmas.

This year, Reed and I loved handpicking gifts for friends and loved ones. In addition to the thought put into each gift and gift wrap, I wanted to take some time to write them Christmas cards. I want the people in my life to know how much they mean to Reed and I, and cards are a great place to start. It really takes no time at all, and makes all the difference!

The stationary I'm using is from a lovely shop called The Polished Blonde. Each card and envelope are handmade, and come with adorable washi tape. I can't say enough good things about the quality of the paper and designs available. I'm one of those unashamed paper snobs. I have to like how something feels and looks before I use it, and these cards are my favorite. Right now, The Polished Blonde is offering free shipping for any US order over $10.00! This special is through the 31st of this month, so don't miss it! It's the perfect time to stock up on some adorable stationary for those Christmas thank-you's. Find the shop here.

Only four more sleeps 'til Christmas! Enjoy the season, keep Christmas personal, and happy writing!

How will YOU be adding personal touches to celebrating Christmas and blessing others? Share in the comments! I'll see you here tomorrow for Day 22 of Blogmas! Merry Christmas!
