This year, one of my goals was to take my skincare more seriously.
Prioritizing a good skincare routine is real adult stuff. It's preventative medicine! It's also the thing we can forget about, because it can be inconvenient, expensive, or we don't understand the value of it.
But the reality is, I have the power NOW, as a young adult, to ensure that I have healthy, vibrant skin decades from now. The condition of our skin is also an outward indicator of what is is happening on the inside. Sugary and salty holiday foods can cause breakouts, not drinking enough water can make our skin red and dull, and puffy eyes can mean we aren't sleeping enough. Not to mention how cold air can make skin and lips so dry!
As I've learned what my skin really needs this year, and how to take care of it (I'm combination, dry in some spots and oily in others), I also know that with Winter arriving, little changes needed to be made. I'm no skin-care expert, but I've discovered some great products and tips to help my skin remain bright, clear and healthy all season! (Pretty inexpensive, too!) I encourage you to see a specialist, get a facial, or take an online skin diagnostic to learn about what your skin type really needs and how to prevent any Winter damage!
So for Blogmas Day 12, I'm sharing MY Winter Skincare Routine!

This face wash removes excess oil without over-drying, gets rid of those pesky blackheads, and is great for daily use.
TEA TREE SKIN CLEARING MATTIFYING FACIAL TONER $14
This toner is refreshing, cleansing, mattifying and has cleared up my skin so fast!
TEA TREE OIL $10.00
This oil is perfect for my acne-prone skin and has improved the quality of my skin overall.

This oil-free, gel-like moisture cream is easily absorbed and perfect for dry or combination skin.
NEUTROGENA ULTRA SHEER SUNSCREEN $7.64
A cardinal rule, no matter what time of year: WEAR SUNSCREEN! Sun damage can continue during the Winter, and this is my favorite. Super lightweight and great under makeup.

This Activated Charcoal soap, is lightly scented with Tea Tree and Peppermint Essential oils and really helps to thoroughly cleanse my whole body and draw out dirt, oil, and any other impurities.

This is magic. A cleanser, scrub, and mask all in one. Smells amazing, feels amazing, and you can target different problems through its three uses.
TEA TREE SKIN CLEARING MUD MASK $17.00
This product is a little treat-yo-self in nature, but clay face masks are the perfect solution for inflamed or irritated skin.
VANILLA MINT LIP SCRUB $6.00
This scrub is the only reason I can wear lipsticks in the winter! After one use, my lips are no longer cracked or dry.
VITAMIN E OVERNIGHT SERUM-IN-OIL $27.00
This serum/oil fusion replenishes and enriches my skin. This stuff makes me look like I sleep 12 hours a night - leaving my skin soft, moisturized, and pampered.
VITAMIN E NOURISHING NIGHT CREAM $22.00
This moisturizer is really nourishing and packed with antioxidants. This is the best overnight moisturizer I've ever used.
VANILLA MINT LIP BALM $4.00
This lip balm is made with cocoa butter, beeswax, sweet almond oil, organic coconut oil and vitamin e oil to provide moisture to my VERY dry lips. Plus, the smell is divine.
