Nothing dresses up a get-together or holiday party like a signature cocktail. Last year, Reed and I made these festive cocktails for the Christmas gatherings we hosted throughout the season. As December approached, I mentioned to my Dad, the real creative genius behind these concoctions, that we needed to whip up something new for this year! I told him I wanted a cocktail that tasted like grown-up eggnog. Enter: The Big Chill. The Big Chill is this year's Christmas cocktail creation and is equal parts creamy, sweet, and just the right amount of spice.
Trust me, friend: this cocktail is DELICIOUS.

Christmas Cocktail Recipe
Fill your glass with ice
Add 1 and ¼ ounce of Jim Beam Vanilla Bourbon or Jameson Whiskey (whichever you prefer!)
Add ¾ ounce of Bailey’s Original Irish Cream
Top with eggnog
Stir to combine
Top with a good dollop of homemade whipped cream
Garnish with festive sugar, crushed peppermint, drizzle with chocolate syrup - whatever you like! Get creative!
Vanilla Whipped Cream Recipe
1 C of heavy whipping cream
1 TB of powdered sugar
1 Tsp of vanilla extract
Using a hand mixer or stand up mixer, mix all ingredients until firm peaks form
